Advanced scholarship in the SA Science system: Genetic trails into our African past
ABSTRACT:
Prof Himla Soodyall will open up lines of thought about her life as a scientist in relation to the interconnected spaces she has made on her own or visited (in the mind as well as literally), and the ways she has come to see and understand the links between the “Cradle/Archaeology”, between biological and mineral sciences; anatomy and genetics – via UDW where she first studied and then WITS and her research in genetics.
