Creating a scholarly and research identity online: Practical Session 2 – Developing your Teaching Portfolio online
ABSTRACT: Being a scholar requires us to wear multiple hats — such as researcher, educator, mentor, professional, manager, grant applicator, clinician, and many more. In order to fully occupy and manage these roles we need to develop skills in managing our different identities. This introductory session and the series of practical engagements to follow is focused on exactly this — developing different identities by showcasing our expertise using online tools and portfolios. Following the introductory workshop, fellows may sign up to address particular topics in practical, small group environments.
PRACTICAL SESSION 2: Wednesday, 6 October(“Developing your Teaching Portfolio online”)
Preparatory work will be required for these. Topics may be adjusted slightly based on requirement. Numbers will be capped and signing up for these sessions a week before, will be required.
